The Summary page is present only in the Android and iOS apps.
It contains two sections: "Summary" and "Categories".
Left tab - Summary
The left section shows the money flow in each period displayed.
For each period, the page displays the total income, the total expenses and their sum.
You can change the periods displayed using the button with a magnifying glass in the top menu.
Note about refunds: when you insert a refund, it is subtracted from the expenses value. It is not added to the earnings.
Example:
Income = 1000$. Expenses = -500$. Total = 500$.
A refund of 100$ is inserted. The displayed values become:
Income = 1000$. Expenses = -400$. Total = 600$.
Important
A summary view shows the money flow in the period, not the money you have.
Your funds are kept in the accounts. Check the "Accounts" page if you want to know your total savings.
Right tab - Categories
The right section displays the amount spent in each category.
You can filter the results by account, date and category type.
