Feature only available in the web app
The subscriptions page gives you a dedicated dashboard to monitor and manage all your recurring payments, such as streaming services (Netflix, Spotify), gym memberships, or software licenses.
It helps you see upcoming charges at a glance and understand the total long-term cost of your subscriptions.
How subscriptions work in Fast Budget?
The Subscriptions page is built upon the scheduled transactions.
To track a subscription, you must create a scheduled expense and activate the "Is a subscription?" option.
The app will then automatically display it in this section, providing you with additional insights and summaries.
The subscription name is taken from the scheduled transaction "notes" field. If no notes is present, the "to" field is used.
If you edit or deleted a subscription, the related scheduled transaction is also affected.
Why don't I see a subscription?
Only subscriptions that you want to renew are shown there. After the last repetition of the scheduled expense, the subscription is no longer shown also if the subscription is valid.
If you're not sure if you want to renew a subscription, keep the scheduled expense and disabled the automatic confirmation.
What does the progress bar on each subscription mean?
The progress bar is a visual representation of the current billing cycle. It shows how close you are to the next payment date. As the renewal date approaches, the bar will fill up.
